Carbón Activado: purificante más utilizado por el ser humano

Activated Carbon: purifying most used by humans

Activated carbon is a porous powder that traps compounds, mainly organic, present in a gas or liquid. It does so with such effectiveness that it is the most widely used purifier by humans.

Coal can absorb large amounts of other substances. Inside your body it could remove chemicals and toxins from your system. When activated charcoal is applied to your teeth it causes plaque, bacteria and other particles to adhere to it, making it possible to rinse all of them together in the end. Here I show you an option of toothpaste with activated charcoal.

As an important note, you must bear in mind that this substance can only remove stains from the surface of your teeth. Specifically, those that are caused by intense colors typical of some foods and beverages.

But ... which ones exactly ?:

  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Red wine
  • Tomato sauces
  • Curries

It must be made clear that this product is NOT what remains after a campfire.

What are the benefits of activated charcoal on the skin?

Leaves skin more beautiful: On the skin, it controls oiliness, reduces the size of pores, making it more illuminated, uniform, firm and smooth. I leave you this option of natural soap with activated carbon.

Gives hair shine: Helps remove impurities from the scalp, making hair more shiny and silky. In addition, it helps in the prevention of seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff).

Detoxification of the body: Active carbon can be used in poisoning by drugs, heavy metals, pesticides and malefic substances that come into contact daily accumulate in our body.

Is the use of activated charcoal safe for teeth?

Yes. It is even completely safe to ingest small amounts of activated charcoal. In fact, it is used to treat cases of poisoning, as it is good at absorbing toxins before they enter the bloodstream.

Activated charcoal is also on the World Health Organization's list of essential medicines, specifically in the section on 'Antidotes and other substances used in poisonings'.

Activated charcoal for teeth whitening is also used in a large number of everyday products and processes such as water filters. You probably use it every day and you haven't noticed.
