Although every day should be Earth Day, April 22 was designated as the day to be commemorated. The earth is our home, it is our mother, sadly we forget and we must give it the importance it deserves.
Since 1945 this day began to be celebrated as a symposium in a university in the United States, the date was chosen because it was more convenient for the school year, since there were no exams, the boys had already returned from spring break and the weather was favorable, really nothing special.
Years later, April 22 was officially designated as the day to raise awareness about the damage we are doing to our pachamama (mother earth) and what actions we must take to preserve it healthy.
